How to Delete Your Account
At Butlah, we respect your right to control your data. If you wish to delete your account and all associated personal information, you can do so through the Butlah mobile app or by contacting our support team.
Delete Your Account Through the App
To delete your account directly from the Butlah app:
- Open the Butlah app on your iOS device
- Go to your Profile
- Tap on Settings
- Scroll down and select Privacy
- Tap on "Delete Account"
- Follow the on-screen instructions to confirm account deletion
Request Account Deletion via Email
If you're unable to access the app or prefer to request deletion via email, please contact our support team at privacy@butlah.com with the subject line "Account Deletion Request".
Please include the following information in your email:
- The email address associated with your Butlah account
- Your full name as it appears in the app
- A brief reason for account deletion (optional)
What Happens When You Delete Your Account
When you delete your Butlah account:
- Your personal information will be permanently deleted from our active systems
- Your profile will no longer be visible to other users
- Your content will be removed from the platform
- You will lose access to all features and services associated with your account
- Some information may be retained in our backup systems for a limited time as required by law
Data Retention
We may retain certain information as required by law or for legitimate business purposes for a limited period after account deletion. This information is kept in accordance with our data retention policies and applicable laws. For more information, please refer to our Privacy Policy.
